Memory Card not being detected

So I've got a core xbox 360 that I've had for several years which was replaced for my original rrod box.

I've never needed to use the memory card slot until now, and just realized that it isn't detecting my memory card. I have another 360 which can read the card without any problems.

Any thoughts on what I can look for inside the box? maybe something was just left unhooked or something? or any thoughts on how to fix this?

I do have a hard drive hooked up which my xbox can see without any problems.

Are both memory card slots not reading?

There wouldn't really be anything to connect inside the system, cause the Memory Slots are soldered directly to the board.
