This sometimes happens with AVI files with VBR audio.
You can load/drag the AVI into AviDemux and save the audio as a separate WAV file.
When saving the file give it a new name with the extension, e.g. audio.wav
Load/drag the AVI into DVD Flick.
(I assume you will read the guide and set the project Settings to suit (PAL or NTSC etc).
Click 'Edit Title' >'Audio Tracks' > 'Remove' (this ensures that the existing audio track in the AVI file will not be used).
'Add' and select the new .wav file as the audio.
Create the DVD (it would be best not to burn the DVD immediately so that you can play the output on the PC to check the sync).
hi attar i put file into avidemux pressed audio and saved file as audio.wav (the name i gave it.) silly as it may sound, what do i do next. sorry this is new to me,as im looking at the screen i still have the movie on avidemux, just dont know what to do now ???? all i can say about the audio is its (AC3, 2CHANNEL) like i say it plays ok on pc but not on dvd so what do i do next thankyou again
hi atta well i use convertxtodvd it converts it then copies it straight to disk also i looked on the file when it was on convertxtodvd and the audio was AC3 also i just looked at the file through gspot and audio codec was mpeg1 layer 3 if that helps thanks again atta hope to hear from you soon

It seems the original AVI is mp3 audio.
After you load the AVI into AviDemux, set the audio on the left side of the window to WAV and save the wav file as previously stated.
Load the original AVI into DVD Flick and follow the steps in my first post to use the new WAV file as the audio for the new DVD movie.
There is a guide included with DVD Flick which shows the general settings for authoring a DVD.
hello attar, well i did what you ask, i put video file on avidemux saved audio in another name, then opened up dvd flick put video on it turned off audio and added my audio file then pressed crate dvd it saved it on my pc but i could not watch it so i opened convertxtodvd and burned it to disk, played it back on my dvd player and nothing has changed??? so what now my friend oh yes i right clicked on the movie and the audio is called lamemp3 if that helps hope to hear from you soon mate chris thankyou
Is the sync issue the same throughut the encoded file (constant-AviMux_Gui should fix this) or gradually get's worse (AviMux_Gui won't fix this)? Here's a guide for that but never tried it: http://forum.videohelp.com/topic309224.html (old thread,-any G Spot version will do).
