i have previously been using dvdshrink and nero6 in conjunction with each other, and recently have run into some problems...
friends have suggested to me that i should use anydvd... but i am not completely sure how to use it?? and what other programs i should use in conjunction with it....

i would appreciate if someone that has experience with these programs could give me a hand...

You didn't say what problems. If it's problems ripping try DVD Decrypter (free) to rip the DVD, then open those files in Shrink. AnyDVD is nice and convenient, but pricey (it more or less unlocks the DVD in the backround). Except for the convenience, it doesn't do anything that Decrypter can't do as far as ripping and I can't see what problems it would solve for you.
