i burned a ps2 game downloaded from site trfighters.net
it was below 700 mb so i burnt it 2 a sony cd-r
it doesnt worked wats wrong....
now i want 2 backup my tekken5
which dvd media shud i use
sony dvd-r or sony dvd+r
or
TDK dvd-r or TDK dvd+r
plz help me choose right one....

If you want to backup your ps2 game, just use "imgburn" or "Nero". And about media you can use "sony dvd/cd -r" (works for me).

1. create image file from ps2 disc
2. burn that img file 2 disc

Yes; create image, burn image. Any decent quality DVD-R is good, i've used TDK and Verbatim without single bad disk. Remember to lower the burn speed to 4x max, preferrably even slower. I've burned with 2x and even 1x.

Depending on your modification and boot method you also might have to patch the image file with some of the various patching tools before burning.

About the CD game that's not working... care to tell which game it is? is it some homebrewn or what? Also are you sure that it really was in CD format?

i have a modchip matrix infinity v1.93
da game was HAMSTER HEROES (89mb)burnt on sony cd-r with alcohol120%
and
cant i use sony dvd-r?....its easily available 2 me?

Yea you can use Sony, i just listed those brands that i've used. I'm sure Sony works just fine.

As for the Hamster Heroes, i've never heard of it and can't really tell what could cause problems :D
