So I'm using dvd shrink to rip the dvd and store it on my hard drive. I'm using anydvd to remove any kind of encryption, and nero to burn the disk. All software is completely up to date. My burner is a dvd-r, check.
Problem: While ripping and burning the dvd i got no error messages. I'm only copying the main movie, not extras so I'm not running out of space on the disk. I have the correct type of disk. The dvd player I use reads the disk and you can watch the movie for about 15 minutes and then I'm told that the reader can't read the data by the player.
I've tried to play this in my xbox, my laptop, and the dvd player in my bedroom, all play dvd's of the same kind, burned copies that are -R. It always gets to the same spot and stops. I've burned the movie three times, twice with the same ripped iso image, and a third when I went through the ripping process again and burned a completely new iso to a dvd, still they all stop at the exact spot.
The original dvd is flawless and fresh from the packaging. Its not a matter of removing encryption, because before I got the anydvd program it would stop and give me an error message because it was encrypted.
Anyone have any thoughts on whats going wrong?

I'm sorry I'm not quite sure what you mean by log? I'm using the most up to date version of nero 9 if that helps. Can you tell me where I would find the log so I can post that?
It might help if we knew the name of the movie, and maybe what OS - betcha it's Vista. I like Image burn too, but if you rip with DVD Shrink and set to burn with DVD Decrypter that should work. Nero should be ashamed for releasing Version 9!
