I have browsed through countless pages and i need to find the legit way to mod my damn psp its a 2001 series i dont know how to get the pandora battery nor anything else about its firmware and software, laugh all you like but i need some help to do this please and thank you.

I am in the same boat, I have gone through what has seemed like hundreds of pages and am so confused. I have a PSP that is version 3.52 I have a pandora battery, http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12472

And I would like to know how to mod it to play the ISO games.
Do I have to have a PSP that is already running the firmware?
Can I make my memory stick into a 'magic memory stick' with some upgrades?
I have put the pandora battery in the PSP and when I put it in, the green power light comes on without me touching the on switch, but it does nothing. So is thepandora battery faulty? Or do I need to be running the custom firmware first?

no your battery is good. you just need to make a magic memory stick. just google for the software download. i have used several and they all write the necessary files to your memory stick via pc. when that is done. pop in the memory stick and then the battery. some programs used to make the magic memory stick require you to hold the L button when inserting the battery just read the readme with whatever program you use.
