I'm seeing silver printable -Rs and -R picture discs (printable down to ~23mm), but neither in +R. Are they not made or am I just not finding them? I know my Plextor will burn -Rs, but I've had nothing but success from my HP200i and I want to buy discs that will work in both burners.

I've bought OptoDisc DVD+R discs from Meritline that have a white top-surface that you can print on with an ink jet printer. I don't print on them--I just like them because they are better for writing on. I don't have any solid info, but I don't think the quality is as good as with the Ritek discs I used previously. I don't get any write errors or anything, and the picture quality is mostly fine, but at the end of the material (the edge of the disk) I see visible blocking. I have an HP 300n.

I've bought those, too, but I'm looking for +Rs where the printable area goes all the way to the center hub. Like ~23mm. Some original DVDs have artwork that goes in that far.

BTW Meritline doesn't have the lowest prices; try http://www.supermediastore.com/dvdprodv47wh.html . It's about 25% cheaper.
