Hi all
Iv just upgraded to ADSL yet when i download from DC++ i still get the speed i used to get with 56k modem.
Iv uninstalled and reinstalled but with no sucesses..can anyone please help.

accy are you in passive mode on dc++ or active mode as the latter is the one you need if you wish serious speed

I tried dc++ for My pc but didn't really work 4 Me

yes im in active mode, but still it makes no difference...iv done a bit more fact finding and have come to realise that a lot of ppl on DC++ use Netlimiter and thus restrict there upload to some times the bear minimum ( which can be a real pain in the ass, as iv just come to realise.

I didnt know that I was on it for a few days usually always queued while others were taking 50-70 kb/s of Me so I just gave it up n moved elsewere
