USBadvance disc spinning like mad

I have a ps2 slim model SCPH-90004 modded with matrix infinity(1.93).

I play a lot, so recently I've started using it through USBadvance so that there will b lesser wear n tear on the laser;
The problem is that the USBadvance disc keeps spinning furiously ALL the time; making the whole endeavour somewhat pointless.

I tried doing the MC exploit(fmcb 1.8) using ARMAX evo but it seems in my version of ps2 it doesnt allow that exploit to b done.
Also i want to avoid buying swap-magic as tht wud make my modchip somewhat worhless >.<

Is there any way for me to either
a) make a MC exploit (or)
b) just stop the damn disc frm spinning
