D2PRO AND NTSC W/3.1 U GAMECUBE BACKUPS NEWBIE

Im trying to run my gamecube backup games on my wii.Wii has a D2PRO modchip installed and Im at NTSC W/3.1U.Im not sure but I think with the modchip thats installed I should be able to run backed up gamecube games right?Also trying to figure out what I need to install to run N64 games and emulators.Lots of threads on softmodding but what if I have a modchip installed?Do I need the Zelda hack and Homebrew Channel or just modchip and Homebrew channel.Im confussed,so many threads.Basically this is what I want to do,run gamecube backups,run old games such as N64 and emulators.Thats it,I have been reading allot and just getting more confused.My wii plays wii backups perfectly but wont play game cube backups.Im a newbie at this so hopefully some one can clearly help me out with exactly what I need to install to run GC backups,N64 and emulators.Oh and I fogot to mention that I also have USB GECKO and have no idea how to use it other than backing up games with it?
