Hello..

So I have a psp slim cfw.. recently my parents bought a sony bravia 40" lcd... then i bought a sony psp slim component cable to connect to the tv... and i just tried plugging everything in, but it didnt work!!!.. the sound works fine... but the screen remains black...
and yes ive plugged it in correctly and firmly and into the right holes and ive even tried switching them around n stuff.. played around with it a bit but no image...

so im wondering if anyone knows anything about this and can help me? i would appreciate it :) cos its really annoying me!!

i wonder if it has something to do with my psp settings or my tv settings or whatever... please help meee!! thank you :)

oh and if you're wondering what kind of component cable i bought.. it looks exactly like this:

When i bought my psp slim headset with mic and tried using it the mic wouldn't work. I played around with it for a while and finally saw the pins inside the jack next the regular headphone jack were not perfectly straight, even though i had never before used that jack at all. So i used an eyeglass flathead screw driver to very carefully straighten the pins inside the jack, and then it still didn't work so.... don't ask me why but i licked the part of the jack that goes in there and it worked and continues to work but only when it is moistened beforehand. I think sony just made a super crappy jack that breaks even when it is never used.
