Hey everyone, i would greatly appreciate your help! :-)
I have a 200GB Fujitsu Mobile 2.5" MHY2200BH
The HDD can be found on the ccl website where is was bought from.
I read on here that somebody formatted a HDD using XboxHDM, but i haven't a clue how to use it!
I'm attempting to use the 200GB to replace my 60GB HDD, but i can not format it as FATX, in order for the Xbox 360 to see the HDD.
Also i want to transfer my content from the 60GB on to the new 200GB, but for that i think i can use the transfer kit endorsed by Microsoft, the only main hurdle i have is getting the 200GB to be recognised in the Xbox 360, hence i need help!

Dont know too much about this as Ive never done it before. I do however know that you can only format to a maximum size of 120GB and you need a Western Digital (BEVS) drive 2.5 SATA drive also.

Hi, thanx for your in-put.
With all do respect, its just a regular hard drive like any other right?
Unless Microsoft has put a limitation on the console... jeez probably would of been better off with a PS3!
It does explain why no one really has anything larger then 120GB. So if i get the Western Digital how will i format that... and if the Xbox 360 does have a limitation on it then it'll only see the first 120GB and ignore the rest of the 80GB?
Is there a simple program out here to format in to FAT-X?
Cheers for your assistance so far! :-)

Get the latest version of HddHackr, v1.00_Build_2009052, and use that to format the hdd. It'll only support the bevs series and I believe one of the WD velocirapter series. It can be any size, but yes, you'll lose anything above 120 gigs.

You need hddhackr and a security sector for a 120 GB harddrive. The security sector is also the reason why it's not possible to put anything larger than 120 GB into the xbox 360.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

I just rang up ccl an arranged a return, i'll get western digital then but the BEVT is Sata II will that work? I am thinking of getting the BEVS since its Sata I and is also the most popular.
But if i i could use a Sata II then i should get better hdd performance on the xbox 360 right?
Finally where can i download the hacking software from and if posible a tutorial on it would be excellect!

You will have to get a minspy USB version or a SATA version or some other similar data transfer unit if you don't want to loose the data on the smaller drive as the 360 will delete whatever is on the smaller, you also won't be able to transfer from the larger to smaller drive using the useless data transfer cable supplied by ms

Oooh ok i understand, a shame though i mean Microsoft transfer cable being sucha dizmal failure!
I think i'll either buy a pre-formatted drive from eBay or just stick with the 60gig as i don't want to mess the HDD up.
