Updating A spoofed DVD drive to ixtreme 1.6

The original Drive in my xbox 360 was a hitachi, I flashed that to a new samsung that i bought and now I want to update the samsung from ixtreme 1.5 to ixtreme 1.6. I was wondering what the process would be for this. Do i use the hitachi as the original or the samsung as the orginal in jungle flasher. Thanks.

It's already spoofed, then just update. You should have the orginial keys to be safe.

Using Jungle Flasher:

Load the Hitachi firmware into the source.
Load ix1.6 for Samsung in the target.
Click "spoof source to target".
Get Samsung into vendor mode and flash.

I followed those instructions and end up with this.

Flashing Hacked f/w to Hitachi 0046/0047 by Mode Select Method via WIN32 API
UnLocked!
Dumping Flash:Configure Upload Failed

Any Clues?

Yeah, you're trying to flash a Samsung under the Hitachi tab. What the above poster said was perfect. Load orig.bin hitachi into source, load ix16 for samsung in target tab, click spoof source to target. Then flash under the BENQ/Samsung tab.

Can you also change the title? You can't flash a hard drive with iextreme. You mean DVD drive
