Please read, Problem Saving game progress on [PSX-PSP] Game

I have a PSP Phat running 5.00 M33-6
I'm trying to run Megaman Legends Eboot (223MB) and whenever I attempt to save the game (with Data the monkey), the option to "SAVE" is grayed out preventing me to save the game.

All I've done is take the Megaman folder with the Eboot inside and throw it into the "/GAME" Folder. Nothing else, I say this just in case there is something else I have to do in order to be able to save the game, please inform me.

I haven't tried any other PSX-PSP games but I will in a few, just to rule out if it's a Eboot problem or a PSP problem (i dunno).

I would really like to Relive this title and I need your help/input to solve this problem.

ok, I just tested with another game (Jade Cocoon) and I was able to save the game to there must be something else I have to do in order to play Megaman Legends 1 and be able to save the game, if you know what this is please let me know.
