I just flashed my Benq to 1.6 and i have to say I couldn't have done it without all of you helping me out. but after i flashed my drive i put my drive back into vendor mode using the half-tray method and to my surprise out came a Guitar Hero World Tour disc 0_0 . Im pretty sure flashing my drive while a disc is in the drive is a bad thing, but the firmware verification came back good after the flash, my drive responded well to the half-tray method, and i just tested the drive and it still works perfect, so im guessing no harm done?

Congrats on the successful flash. I'm pretty sure having the disc in is a bad problem for Hitachis.

I already forgot a game in my BenQ when I flashed it to 1.51 and also later when I flashed it to 1.6. Didn't have any problems. It's kind of hard to damage a BenQ by flashing.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Two more in the family of flashing. Its not that hard, just too many people want it spoon fed. I read about flashing for MONTHS before I flashed mine. A lot of searching and yes, a few threads asking specific questions. But now I have quite a few under my belt.

All I ask, and I would think others on here would second it, is how about sticking around and helping others who are where you were not long ago?
