I have a question. I recently copied the movie Valkyrie, using DVD Shrink and it copied just fine. However, the copy doesn't play on all machines. It is hit and miss. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem?

Depending on if you used +r/-r, your burn speed, the manufacturer of the disk, how old the disk is, and just plainly the player might not like burned disks or certain ones. These are only some of the reasons it mighr have failed.

All those reasons could be the reason, but I have done hundreds of movies and have had no problem like this before. Just this movie. I can live with that. Was just wondering why?

There could be crap on your rip that should have been removed.
Try ripping again with DVDFab and process with VobBlanker.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

I think Dialysis nailed it, as my backup plays wonderfully on all my machines. I used VobBlanker (as per normal) after ripping though. Give it a shot Defilli.

Could be the media itself.
I backed this title up just the other day using DVD Decrypter (as usual) then ImgBurn and it plays fine on all my players. The disc was a Memorex DVD-RW.

Seems like oldies are goodies here, I guess the more data the better. I still use DVDDcrypter unless I have problems with newer discs, then I'll bring up Fab5.

Good work Endo :) I too had seen this posted elsewhere a couple of weeks ago. Seems to be pretty easy.

Agreed. I can't remember the name of the place I had seen this posted. I had done my 2-disk version very easily using dvdfab 5230 > vobblanker > dvd rebuilder > imgburn.
