hey ive gt a psp 3000 series nd id like 2 go through the whole downloading cso files thing and my firmware is 5.5 how do i get started can anyone please help
Hmmm, well you have a PSP-3000 with Firmware 5.50, rite? You wont be able to play cso/iso games yet, because sony has been playing this carrot and stick with CFW installation. With every new firmware/PSP model, Sony always patches something which makes it harder to get CFW. (Custom Firmware which allows you to do almost anything you want with a PSP). Go here,another thread i posted yesterday, it will explain how to get a semi-CFW on your PSP called ChickHEN R2. Since, you have a PSP-3000 however, you won't be able to get the full capabilities as a PSP-1000 running FW 1.50. ChickHEN R2 allows to do some homebrew like watch youtube or play GBA games, but it wont play cso/iso games.
Your right, dont try ChickHEN for 5.50! I was telling you to continue using the libtiff exploit, not chickHEN, but if it didnt crash your PSP, then i donno...
