psp not taking a charge...ideas??

Just bought a new charger today thinking my old one was shot but it's still not taking the charge.

Any ideas on what how to fix?

Does the unit work / turn on, is it just not charging or is it not working either.

Game doesn't work only because battery can't get charged. Just bought a 2nd charger and that one isn't working either. I'm beginning to think it's something a bit more advanced than a new battery or charger. When the charger is plugged in the "charging" light on the psp isn't lit up either.

Send back for repair??

Unless you are confident about taking it to pieces - then yes

It is probable a blown fuse on the power board (however these are surface mount and tiny!)a careful soldering job if you can locate the problem (or a replacement board - not that expensive)
