Just got a homebrew msg to update now my Homebrew cant see the sd card HELP PLZ

Ok I have been at this for days now and hit the wall so any help in getting me back would be super great..
1. I got a message saying my homebrew could be upgraded so I thought hmm why not..I ran though the process (that looks like

the bannerboomer btw) and now my homebrew is not reading the sd card. It was perfect before I did this update and I know it

was a big mistake but I thought it was an auto update.
2. I tried taking out the homebrew and reinstalling using the bannerboom method which got the homebrew up again without the

zelda method but am getting errors in the log after iam done..
3. Now when i try to use the home channel it goes to a black screen then hold for a few sec then goes back to the main

menu...So its not seeing any apps at all....HELP!
4. My ver. is 3.3u and never has been updated.
ANY ideas how to fix this mess? Next time I PROMISE not to try to fix what is not broken hehe Thanks..Kami

Sorry for another lame question but once you start a tread can you edit it? I only see and option to edit the title..
Plus i meant to day when i was prompt to update the homebrew is that it looked like the hackmii installer screen. I did not have on the sd card but was trying a backup game..Not sure if it was a message from the net to update it...Thanks..Kami
