Lite on firmware update problem

When trying to reflash my lite on from 1.51 to 1.6, it keeps saying write verification failed in jungle flasher. it erases ok with status 72. when i put the drive in the 360 it says play dvd but wont play orginals or back ups. when done through DOS it says write ok but still wont play games. tried everything, need help???
