WBFS - Format an IDE in USB case?

I nipped home at lunch and tried to format an IDE drive using WBFS (connected internally as a slave, not via USB)

it failed :)

i have a USB adapter here (you put the HD in it to use an internal drive as an external USB HD)

will this format ok via WBFS as it should be seen as a USB drive now?

Not all drives/enclosures are compatible. Check here.
