Hey guys.

A few days ago on my Ps3 i started to disconnect from every game in NHL 09 and it was a pain in the butt.

So I followed a guide on here and set my ps3 on a dmz, disabled media share, and this seemed to work for a little bit.

Then I figured I'll update my routers firmware and ever since then, playing online in NHL 09 is super laggy.

I do not have a clue what the problem could be, my connection is great on my pc, my ps3 is just in the other room no thick walls to restrict signals. and I just can't play with this lag.

I run on a Linksys WRT160N and just updated the firmware but as i mentioned earlier it seemed to make the problem worst.

So yes I'm completely confused and angry and would greatly appreciate help.

If its the Firmware update on your router you think has caused this why not simply go back to the previous Firmware?

Hi if it was already having issues before you updated the firmware maybe the problem is not the router firmware! have you scanned your pc for any malicious files that could be sending and recieving large amounts of unwanted data? have a try with all the computers off in your house. see if tht solves anything? then take it from there
