I bought this off ebay for $20+ free shipping. It only came with the unit, programing cable, and remote. Does anyone know how to setup this fta box? and is it still able to be used for fta stations( I have tried to find info on it and only goes up to 2007).

I now have a 19 inch dish and a Dish Pro LNB. I have been trying to get the galaxy 19 satellite. How would I enter this satellite dish settings into the orasat. I have been trying to get any satellite that is out there using the scan function but haven't picked up anything at all. The Orasat also says 10% quality with or with out the satellite dish connected. Could it be the Orasat or the Dish Pro LNB that could be broken? I have updated the the unit with Orasat 5 V.1250.bin

I opened the unit and the main board says [dsr-600 fta].
Don't know if that is any help.

Does any one have any info on this box? Am I the only one that has ever heard or used this box ?

both the box and the lnb work( tried a satellite signal tester on the them). But I would really like some help from somebody.

Well mate, if you have a sat finder and your def locked on to your desired sat, then just scan and see what happens!!
