16 GB Kingston Thumb drive not recognized by usb loader

I have 2 USB thumb drives. A 16GB and a 4GB which are both made by Kingston. Both have been formatted WFBS but only the 4GB gets detected by the USB backup loader. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?
