Starview 4 Channells gone on Chorus Cork

Does the starview 4 require a firmware update to get the channels back. The problem seems to be only with this version of starview box? Version 1.09 is on the box at present. I assume they ( chourus)haven't rolled out the Nagravision upgrade in Cork yet?

the starview Super usb has a software problem and as such it cannot view the channels that the other starview boxes can so unless there is a software release for it the box is a dead box

Thanks for the replies.What are the chances of updated software being released for these box's? Are they many people out there who write this software? If the chances of an update been released are slim is it due to the fact that nagravision 3 will be eventually rolled out soon and it is not worth it?Finally what options would someone with the Box Super usb have in this situation?

There is about as much chance of Brian Cowen losing 10 stone and joining sinn fein, the makers knew about this issue weeks ago when it happened and nothing was done or released, better off selling it to be honest to some one in the UK

brian1976 your best bet is to get a kryptview but as there out of stock now your best bet is to pre order now..... i have 2 starview my self and working away fine BUT dont know for how long more !!!! so that why im moving to plan B now lol

Brian, the Itgate boxes are also working on n2 and are in stock as far as i know with the uk suppliers.

its a software problem on that box the krypt will be back in stock in 2 weeks so not long to wait
