I have a PS2
Console - SCPH-77001
I want to watch Divx movies from USB.I did the following
1.Downloaded uLaunch ELF 4.16 and burned it to a CD
2.Downloaded SMS version 2.9 and put that .elf file into my usb drive along with divx files
When i try to boot from CD it is not getting booted.
When i put the CD into the PS2 it shows the Browser and System Configuration options only.
Is there something am missing ??

Now i am able to boot from the CD.
When i get into the filebrowser, i select mass folder and am able to see the files.
1.SMS Version 2.9.elf
2. movie.avi
3. song.mp3
If i select the movie or song , it does not play
If i select the SMS VERSION 2.9.elf, I get Available media as CD and USB(icons on the top).If i select USB i see the following files
1.SYSTEM.CNF
2.BOOT.ELF
3.DUMMY.BIN
4.LAUNCHELF.CNF

These files are only coming for both CD and USB.
How to select the movie and watch them....

Amin , i'm thinking you can't boot the CD because your console is not modded ?

I think that SMS will only read certain Divx/AVI files. I had this problem and i just used AVS Converter to convert it to the correct format. Sometimes if you have a Divx, it will spit out that ERROR on the bottom saying, TOO LARGE OF FORMAT.
