can anyone explain this?

iwas on my xbox earlier, n my plug must hav come loose from the socket. the tv screen goes blank, then iget 3rrod. was there any damage. or was it a short circuit

at the moment its orange since its off, and green when its on as it always is. i didnt really see if the power box was stil lit when my plug came loose.

whats the significance in the power box light anyway? and is there any damage.

dont worry this is normal. the xbox give rrod if you have a lose, "unpluged!" or falty av cable.

is the xbox running ok now? if u get rrod again just make sure everything is pluged in properly. if it does become a frequent problem check the error code and google it to see what it is. if you got warranty sen it back to m$. the chaces are you will get the real RROD sooner or later. out of all the people i know 1 person has not had it.

If you send it in to ms just because of this they will send it back to you and charge you the postage (assuming the rrod is because of unplugged cable).

There should not be any error codes if the av cable is detached (no way to transmit image from 360 to screen), and this particular rrod usually only happens if the power cord isn't plugged in properly, i think if av cable is faulty then it's 2 or 1 rrod. If there is an error code then there may be something wrong with your 360, and i would advise to send it to ms if still under warranty

This problem is normal, if you just check your power cord every time you move your 360 then that will minimise this occurence... but i don't think it does any damage anyway.
