hi,my friend has a nintendo wii w/4.0U firmware and has a serial no.LU6584...my question is do i use the LU64 fix or the 4.0 softmodding instruction above to modify it? any help would be great! thanks in advance.

you can't use any, because there is nothing for LU64+ systems. even says it in larry's guide right at the top, in red.

but if i remember right,i once saw a thread here called LU64 fix thats confirms wii with Lu64 serial can be softmodded?

It is not an official LU64fix. Also it only worked on LU64 3.4 firmware systems only.

You will need to wait till SoftMii 3.0 comes out. They claim they have a solution for it.

Before you ask I have no idea when it will be out. They said it will be out when it is out.
