Ok so last week my computer crashed as i tried to update to ixtreme 1.6 from 1.51 i thought i lost the 4 bin files but i have found a copy (lucky i followed directions...too bad i forgot about them) so i got a guide that says to create dos bootable drive and use dosflash.exe dosflash.typ and l-o-eras.exe what i dont understand is that it says:

copy your target firmware, that you prepared using jungleflasher, onto the USB drive. Your target bin must be less than 8 letters long. i.e. mytarget.bin is ok, but myfavoritetarget.bin is too long for DOS.

i dont understand how to prepare my firmware with jungleflasher. do i need to just copy the 4 bins or do i have to open the bins in jungleflasher and consolidate them to a single file? can anyone help me out. i tried loading but it says its looking for orgin.bin not key inquiry dummy ect.

Load the dummy.bin into source.
JF will ask you to auto-spoof. If you have ix1.6 in the folder click yes.
If not, click no, and then click open target firmware and locate ix1.6. Then click spoof source to target.
Click the option to save the firmware.
At that point you can put the custom firmware on the jump drive.
