There are plenty of tutorials out there for this, you don't even need the xtrator as you don't even have to do the half tray method, nor do you need the probe.

JungleFlasher will unlock a Benq directly, then you just simply flash it.

thanks i have read the tutorial a couple of times, as well as the tutorials on maximus web site for hooking up the xtractor, but i just not sure of what's not need for flashing with the xtractor?
i want to use the xtractor and jungle flasher as they seem more easier than the iprep way, which i did about a year ago and i just wanted to see if there was any tutorials for hooking up the drive to the pc with the xtractor? (preferably video tutorials)
by the way the link that searches Google for you is cool!

You don't need any more tutorials, the JF one covers it all!

If you really want to use the xtractor, just plug the molex power into the xtractor board, plug the small circuit board into the DVD drive (can only fit one way to allow you to put the S-ATA cable in), plug the S-ATA cable from your PC into the DVD Drive, power on the xtractor (hence the DVD Drive).

If you don't have a spare molex power cable, or it's not long enough, just power the DVD Drive from the 360 and scrap the xractor, (ensure you earth to the PC case).

From there just follow the JF guide!

P.S. You do not need the Probe (presuming you bought the USB xtractor with the probe).
Have fun!

Make sure you have a 6421 via card. Delete c:\windows\system32\viamraid.sys

Then power up drive with xtractor. Open JF, and click intro, when it ask to power cycle, turn drive off, hit okay wait 1 sec and turn back on to get in vendor mode. (half way open usually has to be done for this to work). Hit read, save all keys, hit write, then outro. Done.
