SoftMii 4.0 Install with VC/WiiWare on SD Card?

I had a question that maybe someone might be able to answer. I was looking through the SoftMii forum section on the SoftMii site on how to install it.

I am already on 4.0 and have a cIOS installed. The guide says to downgrade to 3.2 to install SoftMii, Preloader and cIOSCORP then gives steps to upgrade back to 4.0 firmware.

My question is will my VC/WiiWare games I have moved to my SD Card still be linked if I downgrade to 3.2 and install SoftMii and then update back to 4.0?

It took me a while to install all of them and move them to the SD Card. It will suck if I have to do it again.

I asked in the SoftMii forum but I haven't got a reply. I was hoping someone in this forum might have some experience with SoftMii and could answer my question.

im a noob to this so take my advice as a grain of salt but if it were me id install boot mii (boot2 if you can) and then back up your nand. that way if you make a change that you dont like or brick your wii you can restore everything back to the way it was when you backed up the nand. be sure to back up your sd card as i think it formats it in the process.(could be wrong about that)

also i dont know much about cioscorp or what it does but the boot mii faq makes it seem like its not a very good application.

Preloader can recover from a brick.
cIOSCORP does a few extra things. Like boots backups directly from Disc channel. I can also install themes to the Wii menu. So I want to try SoftMii.
