so got to point in JF where you erase the drive. it froze up and then eventually went but said erase failed and now the drive wont eject and the middle light of the four lights is just blinking green rapidly.

everything i read online says to use Dosflash 1.7 but i cant find out how to you it. so confused. says its looking for ATAPI but i dont know exactly what that means but i know it isnt finding anything under port drop down.

You don't need to do DosFlash on a bootable jumpdrive. Use that as a last resort. I'm assuming you have the VIA card because you said it froze.

1. Disable VIA card in device manager.
2. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers and remove "viamraid.sys" or "vsmraid.sys".
3. Re-enable VIA card in device manager.
4. Re-boot PC.
5. Open up JF and select the corresponding S-ATA port that you know your Lite-ON drive is connected to.
6. Resend the Lite-ON erase command.
7. Should respond with good flash chip properties and at that point you should be able to write the firmware.

ok that worked thanks. but now i have a new problem. i have flashed three liteon drives in last 24 hours and last two went pretty smooth but now on this last one im having an issue.

on last drive and we have confirmed that the key we got is correct. we spoofed a hatachi drive with the liteon key and worked fine but now we cant get the last drive to flash. doesnt give us error anything along those lines but wont detect game after flash.

my friends and i have tried using both JF and dosflash32 with no sucsess. we flashed three pervious drives with DosFlash and they worked fine. any help would be nice. like i said we are not getting error or anything along those lines just wont flash right. everything appears to work except wont read game. and yes the game was confirmed that it was burned correct works on other drives.

What is the error when you put the game in the XBOX 360? Open tray?
