Xbox Backup Creator serious problems

I have an ongoing problem copying games with ix1.6 0800 firmware with xbox backup creator 2.9. I have the latest xbox backup creator and 1.6 firmware is succesfylly flashed on a dedicated toshiba samsung ripping drive. "0800 1.6" I have a via 6421 card and onboard sata. xbox backup creator 2.9 and windows will see the drive but xbox backup creator 2.9 wont reconize that game is inserted. I have tried starting xbox back up creator with disk in drive and also booting than inserting disk. I have also tried the drive on via card with non raid drivers and also on motherboard with raid disabled. This is getting so frusturating can someone please help. Any help

I have the VIA card and I use it to copy games. I have found that I can't flash XBOX 360 DVD drives with the VIA driver installed. So I have to remove "vsmraid.sys" from C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers. When I need to copy games, I put vsmraid.sys back into the folder. I have 2 nice move batch files that do it for me and reboot the computer automatically.

What type of operating system are you using?

I am using Windows XP and didn't have trouble flashing 1.6 0800 it just wont read a game when inserted into xbox backup creator
