hope you can help.
just flashed to 1.6 using jungleflash.
everything went fine see below. but when i turned it on the fans spin for a second then rrd.i have replaced x clamps 6 months ago but now there doesnt seem to be any real power getting through.



DVD key found @ 0xE030 key is 77777777777777777777777777777777
Firmware is Benq OSIG: PBDS VAD6038-64930C
Firmware type is: iXtreme v1.60-12x-FINAL-VAD6038

Spoofing Target
DVD Keys are already the same
Inquiry strings identical
Identify strings identical

SPi flash found with Status 0x73

Flashing the 360 DVD drive has nothing to do with RRoD. You have a problem somewhere else. What is the secondary error code?

there is no code at all like i say its like theres not enough power to run it. heatsinks not getting warm with fan unplugged.aloso have tried another power supply and same job.

Your x clamps are shorting out against the metal of the motherboard chassis, is that your real dvd key?

did you use #8 washers when x clamping ? using to big of washers will cause it to short out

Did you use nylon washers? These go bad and warp. Try steel or all metal washers.
