I have a LG GSA-H55N, been using it for a while now, have burned more than 100, maybe more than 200 media on it.
Today I tried burning the new terminator image in verb media, and it failed, at around 20%. Tried again and it failed at 30-40%.
Is my burner dead? I just remember it never failed in the beginning, and lately it did... just this time it did twice in a row, and verbs are way too difficult and expensive to get here in this third world country...
So, a new burner for me? and, is Samsung Sh-s203d a good choice for a new one? or Lg H58n? Thanks.
If it keeps failing, I'd say the burner is having problems.
I have a Samsung SH-223Q (SB-03 firmware) and it has done at least 150+ and I haven't had a single issue. I know wabashman just commented on somebody else thread and he has a Samsung, some SH model, and he has done 200+ 360 games and 300+ DVDs and his is still going strong.
