Iv e done some research and came with an outstanding post...

First off, you need to try and dump the firmware from your dvd drive. If it is 'fried', then you may not be able to do so with software. There is no point in buying a new drive before you have your dvd-key for that particular motherboard. If you cant dump it with software, you will need someone who has a programmer. They will have to desolder the flash and read it with a programmer. Then you can flash your new drive with your dvd-key.

Without it, your 360 is useless.

My question is Does somebody knows where i could find this programmer? or give me a lead?

Is there a way by now that can detect it automatically?

Any reply is welcome

From your other thread, you said your drive still ejects, so it isn't dead. Unless you have done something to it recently.

You must be doing something wrong. You must use probe the R707 hole on the Lite-ON drive to get the key.

I know but sinds i cain't get it to get detected in windows or any other program i'm trying to find an other way seems like it's dead for the 360 console but still ejects connected to my pc. Without getting noticed in any program it still contains data from the 360 mobo... so if only you could read that in a way (* Like the programmer *) people incl. me don't need to worry about trowing the drive away or replace it with another. Think about it and help me around if this is possible just think about drives that are really fried or bricked or what ever... you still can recover the data out of it that would be terrific right?

Like the Ixtreme firmware... it's a master piece with adjustments to it so it could run on the console and actually "talk" to the motherboard. People have bin askin' about the orig. files, some really need it because they didn't do the steps right following the right tutorials and now they've got a console maybe brand new and it's sort of wasted because they don't have a back up or orig. files to flash it back on it. The possibility is endless, why not make a hack of a hack??? Adjust the file you need to make it back orig. take the Ixtreme 5 benq for example tell in people in a .info file what they need to do to get it back to original. You don't break any laws that way and you don't break in to private files because it's a free file that any one could use.

whaha why is that? no worries we'll figure it out :) have faith in modding :D that's how i get by... really it's no problem is some one in the jungle team perhaps could spear some time after finishing jungle flasher and take a look ad these post i'm sure they'll figure something out than it's all done :) I mean the power to restore your drive back to orig. or a previous firmware flash after a bad mod is like a dream come true even dough the dream is still working it's way with Team Jungle in it :D ^-^ With Ixtreme 1.6 on the way.

I mean after this solution worked out we don't have to ask for nothing more :D unless M$ is working on somthing in there sleeve to mess things up again. I mean they already released the xbox 360 too early anyway because they wanted to make the deadline for headsets :S just to beat sony... :S that's just stupid >-|
