Will games burned for iXtreme 1.51 work on 1.6

Will games currently working on iXtreme 1.51 continue to work if upgraded to iXtreme 1.6. The reason i ask is because the guy i purchase my games from is advertising as such:

Prototype [REGION FREE] (For Xbox hacked BEFORE May-17-2009 aka not for 1.6 hack)

Prototype [REGION FREE] (Xbox hacked with iXtreme 1.6 starting May-17-2009)

Is there a reason he is advertising two versions of every game?

The reason he is offering 2 different types of games is because anybody with with firmware lower than ix1.51 needs the game to be patched. So any game you have that worked on ix1.51, will work on ix1.6. Unless you bought the patched version of the game from the seller. ix1.6 also has strict wave checking so any game that has been patched, won't work on ix1.6.

so is there a way of knowing if the game has been patched using xbox backup creator, dvd mulleter or abgx360.
