I am looking for info on anyone that has used prodisc S03 dvd -r 4x media. I have done some research and it seams that it rates right there with ritek. So I am looking for real world experiances.

I have used the Prodisc DVD-Rs in the sample pack.
They burned well. They also burned at 4X on my optorite 201 when other cheap brands burned at 2X.

I have ordered 100 for $73. I'll get back to you on the results. They are pretty cheap at supermedia.com right now. Delivery is about a week when I order stuff but I have been satisfied with their products.

I just registered and this is my first post!
I have a plextor px708a and just bought a 50 pack of these discs and yes, they are great! 4X speed and high quality burns. Seem to be more consistent for ME than the Ritek G04's. I get some errors with those.
Got mine from precisioncddvd.com which is one of the only places to have affordable shipping to Hawaii. The other discs that I have good luck with are the 2X TDK dvd-r.

I've successfully burned thru my prodisc so3 25 pack and started on my 100 pk which I ordered after great results on the first batch. My lite-on 451 didn't like them so I now run a Pioneer ao7u, firmware 1.13.
I've had perfect results with this combo....
Pioneer AO7U (107)
DVD Shrink , Nero 6 Ultra
ProDisc SO3 from supermedia.com 75.oo per 100 pk

It took alot of experimenting and some wasted cash
but I'm completely satisfied with the results I get now. By the way, I'm a custom audio video installer and I played one of my backups thru a 35,000 dollar
overhead dlp on a 110" screen. These backups look and sound as good as the original.
I wish I had found this site sooner. It would have saved me alot of money and agrivation.

I have been through about 500 now. They work as well for me as ritek plus they use AZO dye.

Ok , I bought 200 to check them out 4x -r white printable full surface version. Not as good in my set up as Ritek. I had 6 bad burns and 1 bad disc. I did like the full printable surface though.
