CK3 Pro light is red modeb=off, Lite on drive

Hi I've connected my Drive, CK3 and probe up exactly like the picture guide here http://team-xecuter.com/ck3/liteon_probe.htm

However my ck3 light is still showing red. The probe is blue but the ck3 will stay red unless I turn ModeB on, Which I believe is only for use with Hitachi drives. Can Anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

I have done and It will turn blue but I thought this was only for hitachis?
