I have an old firmware on my xbox360 and i have burnend a game star ocean the last hope and prototype...the games are working but i cant play it cause i have a old firmware.
My question is can i play it without upgrading the firmware?
Like patching the games or something else?

ive also read things like wave2 and wave3...

yes, now read up about it.

However, don't expect to go on live again if you do that. You're probably better off just updating the firmware.
