USB Loader GX Question

I have a Hp one 1TB usb hard drive and when i start the usb channel the USB Loader GX logo appears for about 3 seconds and returns back to the system menu. is tha because the tp isn't compatible so if theres no usb so it wont run? or is it cios i need to update?

i format the drive with WBFS Manager and i put games on it.

It sounds like you have the USB Loader GX forwarder installed as a channel.

You need to have the USB Loader GX application on the SD Card for this to work. So make sure you have the USB Loader GX application in the apps folder in a folder called usbloader_gx so the forwarder can find it and launch it.

The directory would be...

SD Card://apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol

boot.dol will be the USB Loader application.

If you don't have this directory made with the application there then the channel forwarder will just flash the USB Loader GX logo for a few seconds then return to the Wii Menu because it can't find the application on the SD Card to boot.
