I?m new to this and am trying to find a good camera and software. I will be shooting documentary type stuff with interviews and such. I would like to keep it all (software, camera, and whatever else you think I need) under 500 but am willing to go up to about 700 or 800 dollars. I obviously want the basics like good picture and sound. Since I will be doing interviews and such, I will be in quiet environments so I don?t want the camera buzzing or anything like that. I will be in various environments so it needs to be versatile. As far as software goes, I don?t need anything to fancy. I would like something that allows me to cut and move shots, put in music or voice-overs, and possibly transitions like fades. The finished product should be able to be burned onto a DVD. I also have access to a PC but my personal computer is a mac so I would really like if it is compatible to that. I would also really like it if it could be put on a tripod. Thanks for your help.
