Do you use a router or is your modem listed here: http://www.portforward.com/english/route...routerindex.htm Any firewall, make BL an exception. What port, use one over 10,000 and set your upload to about 80%, this is a good site: http://www.speedtest.net/ Just convert mb to kb by multiplying by 1024 and then dividing that by 8 to get KB which BitLord use's. You might also consider a different client, BitLord is based on an old version of BitComet and its bug's, also contain's adware and is banned on most private site's. Don't know if AT&T is throttling torrent's but have heard a lot say they think so.
Almost anything is better than BitLord but, as long as you're just "shopping", have a look to utorrent (very light), Deluge (light) or Vuze (not so light).
