Hi guys, I need help taking off the Disk Tray Cover off my FAT Silver PS2, the model is SCPH-50003.

When I talk about the Disk Tray Cover I mean the Sony Logo thing when the Disk Tray comes out...

I can't see any screws or anything, someone tell how to get rid of it please.

It should have clips on either side that you can see from the bottom just use a small precision driver or something similar to gently lever it off.

Now I just need help using the Slide Tool...


Where do you actually put it in... I need a couple of picture because I seriously cannot see a ledge in there... Nor can I feel it.

The easiest way I found was to get down to the same level as the ps2 and shine a torch in to see exactly where the white 'bobble' is, as soon as you've done it a couple of times then you'll soon get the hang of it

It is much nicer to have a fliptop on the FAT PS2 than use the slide tool.
