Need help with ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler and more.

I've been researching how to hack my dreaded silver psp 3000 which apparently cannot be hacked due to the model of the motherboard and software. I have found that I can use some items like the ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler and others which I downloaded onto my computer but I have no clue where to actually place them on my memory stick.
Could any body point me out from this position given below:

-4gb MemoryStick Pro Duo (Legit)
-Silver psp 3000 (Ratchet and Clank Edition?)
-System Software version 4.05
-and the following Homebrew, patches, etc;
--ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler
--Unlimited Character Version and the Mac address spoofer
--RCO Patcher
--CTF Extracter for PC
--Descrambler Patcher

I'm in the market for a new psp. I owned a psp phat but I've invested too much money for it to stay alive. Is the CFW stable and will the iso's run without any problems? i.e. shut down or brick? will this work with the 3001 xmb and xms? Is chickenhen still buggy and if installed, will it interfere with other homebrew apps. will dark alex be contributing in the future. Thanks.

1) The custom firmware should be stable if you get the right stuff for what model psp you have.
2)I'm pretty sure that if you have the right firmware, your iso's will work just fine. I'm having NO trouble with mine at all.
3)Mine hasn't bricked and I've done many dense things.
4) I've read that chickHEN should work on the 3000 models.
5) So far, I've not encountered any problem with chickHEN like bugs or what not.
6) I am not sure if it will interfere with other homebrew apps, but I've also read it shouldn't.
7) I believe that he is working on getting the model 3000 a permanent hack as all of the other models have.

But then again, I'm still pretty much a noob at this so... you should do some research, a little research never hurt.
I've researched for about 2 and a half to 3 weeks and there was and is still so much that is in the dark. :P

I hope I helped out atleast a little bit.

i installed sfw 5.00m33-6 on psp3001 also allows you to run iso without any umd emulator i installed the 1.5 kernel aswell so that i can run homebrew apps!

maybe you should install it!

Where did you get the 5.00m33-6?
How did you go about setting that up?
I was forced to install JUST the 5.00 cfw then go through the whole chickHEN deal even though I didn't have to 3000 model.
So now I have to reboot the chickHEN program everytime I restart my psp.

the way i installed 5.00m33-6 was pretty simple i had 4.01m33 all i did was ran the network update and it updates m33 firmware now!

i think dark alex (creator of cfw) changed the network update to update m33 firmware instead of sony's original.

after i installed 5.00m33-6 i installed the 1.5 kernel aswell so i could play most homebrew which i havent come across any i cant play!

also i can play iso without any umd emulator its just straight off the memory stick!

Yeah, I have a black psp thin, when they first were sold, and I payed somebody to hack it and thats how they got it, so when my cousin asked me to hack his silver psp thin I had difficulties with that way even though it was a 2001 model.
I don't know why it wouldn't work so I had to restart the whole thing and go with the chickHEN route.
I'm lucky I didn't lock down the psp the rate I was going.
But by any chance, could you get me the link to the cfw and updates that you used to complete your hack?
I will be working on another psp thin shortly and I will need those to help me out. (:
If you can't its fine, I just had difficulty finding that stuff. :P

the guide i used is here it is an unbricking hack and contains cfw but you need a pandora battery
