I have used dvd decrypter and dvd shrink for awile and never had a problem.
The only 2 things I have done recently are:
-I got a Ipod Touch so I had to download the newest ITunes.
-I downloaded handbrake so I could put songs on my Itouch.

I decrypt the dvd and put it in a folder on my desktop. From there I can get the movie to handbrake BUT if I try to take the movie from the folder to DVD shrink , it plays the movie but them gives me a burn failed message.
here it is:

Since you have DVD Decrypter, opt to have DVD Shrink burn the disk with that instead of Nero.
If that doesn't help, try some 'Verbatim' disks instead of the Ritek.

how do I change it from Nero? I went to DVD Shrink and went under Prefrences but all I saw was a box to uncheck that says
"enable burning with Nero"
If I uncheck it, it didnt give me another option.

Can't help other than that imgburn is the burning part of dvd decryptor & is constantly updated,it's dvd decryp without the decrypt part due to legal issues the maker had.

To stop making coasters use some RW media instead until the prob is solved

Normally with DVD Shrink (if DVD Decrypter is installed) when you elect to backup, the drop down menu offers the choice of burning with DVD Decrypter.

There is a version of DVD shrink that offers the option of burning with ImgBurn (if ImgBurn is installed).

Install ImgBurn, uninstall your version of DVD Shrink, then install the new one.

You need to free up some memory, try shutting down some of the programs running in the background. And stop burning at 2.4x that is way too slow.
