i have a wii v4 softmod with ciosrev10 uk pal with usbloader gx on a iomega 1tb (1 x 500gb wbfs , 1 x 500gb ntfs partitions) . some games loads the wrist strap safety notice then goes blank or may show the developers logo (sega/thq , etc ) then go blank.

1
mortal kombat armageddon loads wrist strap, then says you can use classic control / gc controller then it goes blank and freezes and looses sync with wiiremote as any button pressed after just flashes the 4 blue leds. , i ran wanikoko ios iso patcher and patched to ios249 . now when i run mortal kombat it just reboots the wii . so at least it doesnt freeze the wii . i might try patching with ios30 as recommened in the ios patcher readme tonight ? some say ios249 which didnt work , some say ios 15 / 30 ? which shall i use ?

2
also is this why when i use usbloadergx to run my metroid 3 prime corruption iso off the hdd it says please insert cd3 metroid 3 prime corruption dvd ? apparently i need to generate a gamesave and then wiiscrub the dvd and replace the dol file

yafaze gives a better tutorial on http://www.yafaze.com/forums/viewtopic.p...82&p=5664#p5664 but you do need original disc to have generated a game save first???

3
my third issue , is usblodaer gx doesnt always reocgnise my 1tb drive. it usually recognises it if i boot wii to channel menu first. then switch on the hdd. as when i load usbloadergx from the channel it will freeze on the white background or says use ios249/222 wait further 30 seconds ? - could it be due to ciosrev10? i need v13/b but i am sceptical of upgrading due to reports of it being worser off .loading usbloadergx manually via the HBC isnt any better

- pls help

OK, first of all, USBLoader GX didn't give me good results (Wii hangs, disk doesn't get recognized, ...).
Now I have USBLoader 1.5 cfg and use cIOS38v13b. Works like a charm on 2 Wii's (maxtor passport & lacie mobile disk external drives).

ok whilst i been waiting reply i did a bit of googling .

mka =
i may need to use wii scrubber to load the mka iso . and extract the mk7.dol file from the data partition and rename it to main.dol and put it back in overwriting it.

mp3:c =
apparently i can put any random blank cdr / original wii game just to satisfy the wii's needs.

i also note my medal of honour heroes 2 , loads straight to a blank screen . i found this fix that i will try tognitht =

A "How To" For running Medal of Honor Heroes 2 from USB Loader GX:

Download and install USB Loader GX in apps (should use the forwarder if you want a

channel)
http://usbloadergx.koureio.net/

Make certain you have cIOS38_rev13a installed.
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?m2g2xzidqvt

Manually update to r528.dol (r529 is wack*) (rename to boot.dol and put in usbloader_gx

folder in apps)
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?kykvwrzyr5f

Open Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (MoH H2) iso in wiiscrubber
http://www.mediafire.com/?omnztny0hyw

Extract "game.dol" in partition one to your desktop

Rename "game.dol" to the 6 char game ID (RM2E69.dol for NTSC)

Copy the renamed dol to the root dir of your SD card

Install MoH H2 iso to your WBFS partition

Launch USB Loader GX, click on MoH H2, click settings, choose to use alternate dol, save,

click back and play the game.

*Alternate dol on r529 did not work for this game. Also... r529 would not run ANY games

without the 002 fix enabled

Just as a follow-up to the Mortal Kombat Armageddon problem. I was running into the exact same problems as described and after running the Wii Scrubber fix...

1. Load the original ISO in Wii Scrubber
2. Extract the mk7.dol file from the data partition
3. Rename it to main.dol
4. Right click on main.dol file on data partition, choose replace and select the renamed main.dol file

The game then loaded perfect using configurable USB loader revision 50 from a WBFS formatted partition. Just as a side note I do have a mod-chip but I believe this will work on soft-modded only wii's as well.

Oh yeah, I also had previously tried patching the game ISO to using 249 as well, so I'm not sure if this has to be done first or not?

When I scrubbed MKA I extracted the mk7.dol, and renamed it to RKME5D.dol (NTSC) or if yer running a PAL sys you rename it to RKMP5D.dol. Put it in the neogamma folder in the root dir of the SD card and boot using alt dol: SD. Once a save game is created then the iso would boot up perfectly, worked for disc back up too.
