ey guys,my drive died a few days ago reading ufc so i got this one,and now i am wonderin if its possible to flash it and use xbc with it.regards

Flash Kreon firmware to it? ... Doubtful. Plus it is a DVD Burner.

yeah it burns at 16x and reads at 12x dual layer discs

The Kreon firmware was designed off of the SB-01 firmware for the SH-D163 drives. So I don't think it will work for the SH-S223 series.

SH-D163 SB-01 firmware is designed for a DVD-ROM drive.
