The notorious iPhone Dev Team, known best for releasing software that jailbreaks iPhones and iPod Touches, has released a video today showing off a new version of yellowsn0w called ultrasn0w that will unlock every iPhone/Touch firmware including the new 3.0, released today to the public. unlock is worthless unless the phone is jailbroken because i dont think you can do an unlock without jailbreaking your phone first.

if you watch the video there are other ones available to view and one is entitle jailbreaking 3.0 iphone. so i assume it can be done.

if you read the title of the video it says unlock/jailbreak, so i suppose it does both??
