Hitachi 78 to 47 drive, please help!

Like a idiot I bricked my Hitachi 78 drive...don't really want to get into details about it (just drives my crazy). Well after I bricked it the drive wouldn't power on or eject so I dug out my old 47 drive and put it's pcb in the 78 drive. Now turns on and ejects but when I coonect it to my computer it detcts it via slax but only as a cd rom drive so toolbox or JF don't reconize it. Help please.

What can I do to get it working again? I have original 78 key N 47 key. how can I spoof it to work? Been reading but nothing. Computer doesnt reconize it as an 360 drive. Also I can play a DVD movie but when I put in a original 360 game it gives me that white screen telling me to put a 360 game in with different languages (something like that). Help, thanks.

Put the 47 PCB board back into the 47 drive. Then check out the Jungle Flasher tutorial on spoofing different keys. Or, load your original 78 firmware in source and then load ix1.51 for 47 drive in target, click spoof and then use Firmware Toolbox to flash the drive.

Use JF to get the drive in Mode-B.
